Mirati Gives
Corporate Giving
Mirati believes that supporting the community where you live is as important as the research that you do. We have channeled that belief into an extensive history of supporting community-based organizations, especially those that benefit patients with cancer. We engage organizations across the spectrum of oncology that are specific to prevention, diagnosis, education and support services.
Our charitable giving strategy focuses on
Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM)-centric education, mentorships and grants
Community investments to address relevant and critical issues where Mirati is located.
Volunteerism
We believe that our employees’ skills and generosity can positively impact the communities in which we work and live. In turn, volunteerism increases pride in what we do, and connects us to one another. We encourage our employees to give back by providing two days of paid time off each year to volunteer time in their community.
Select volunteer programs
Each year, Mirati colleagues adopt families to help bring some cheer into their holidays.
Mirati partners with a local food bank to donate time, funds and, in 2020, over 350 pounds of food.
In December 2020, Mirati proudly sponsored over 400 individually packaged breakfast meals that were delivered to local cancer services locations in San Diego County as a thank you to the healthcare workers. Mirati employees shared hand-written notes with each meal expressing their appreciation for their hard work and dedication to patients with cancer.
