As a human resources intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our talented HR team members and senior leaders on a variety of high impact, high visibility projects spanning across total rewards, talent management, and HR operations. The internship offers a unique perspective into a top-class biotech company. Our internship program also provides you the opportunity to network with people at Mirati through various planned events and activities.

Your Responsibilities

  • Partner with total rewards team members to design and implement career architecture:

    • Assist with job analytics and benchmarking activities.

    • Support the communication plan including the creation of tools and resources to help employees and managers navigate career architecture.

  • Partner with talent management team members to support engagement survey action planning activities:

    • Leverage LinkedIn Learning platform to design curated libraries and learning streams.

    • Leverage engagement survey data analytics to inform action planning strategies.

  • Support ad hoc HR activities related to pay analytics, communications, presentations, engagement, learning & development, etc.

What is Required

  • Applicants must be enrolled in a U.S. accredited university for the semester before and immediately following the internship.

  • Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree and have completed at least their sophomore year or be a graduate level student pursuing a master’s degree.

  • For Bachelor’s and master’s degree students, a major in business, finance, or human resources is preferred.

  • Applicants should be dependable, highly motivated, with strong interpersonal skills.

  • Must have a high level of organizational and planning skills.

  • The ideal candidate exhibits strong analytical, problem-solving, and oral and written communication skills; he or she also possesses the ability to work well in teams.

  • This is a part-time internship with about 35 working hour per week. The schedule could be flexible.

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range:

$23.00 - $25.00 / hour
