Job Description Summary

The Director / Senior Director, European Headquarters Medical Affairs Lead will be an integral member of the EU medical team to prepare for launch. The successful candidate must be comfortable functioning in a lean biotech environment where ambiguity is common and flexibility is essential. The successful candidate should have a demonstrated track record of balancing strategic thinking, external engagement, and tactical execution.

Your Responsibilities

  • Serve as the European medical lead for adagrasib and sitravatinib and be the local expert for core activities such as TL engagements, adboards, and medical education
  • Develop the European medical plans for launch including compassionate use/early access plan, evidence generation, local publication and congress planning, EU advisory board planning, and patient advocacy mapping/engagement
  • Begin to implement any launch activities as necessary
  • Provide medical expertise as needed for regulatory and reimbursement process
  • Establish connections with the broader medical community and advocacy groups
  • Deliver data presentations at Advisory Boards, investigator meetings
  • Partner with internal stakeholders/functions to ensure alignment of the European medical strategy and objectives with global medical plans
  • Adapt any US deliverables as needed for Europe
  • Incorporate European needs in global projects, including Publication Planning, Advisory Boards, Educational Programs, Conferences.
  • Help to adapt and deliver any disease-state and product training for internal functions, as needed.

What is Required

  • Advanced degree required
  • Oncology experience is required, lung cancer experience is preferred
  • A minimum of 7 years of medical affairs experience, including preparation of launch.
  • Proven track record of success in delivering on medical plans and activities, including new product launches
  • Team orientated and ability to work collaboratively towards common objectives
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication
  • Have credibility with KOLs and external medical communities
  • Be nimble and energetic in a fast-paced, dynamic and collaborative environment
  • Strong sense of accountability, highly organized, and track record of execution
  • Travel is anticipated as part of this position (30%)
